I was awarded the Chair of Excellence 2019-20 at Universidad Carlos III Madrid, Spain, and given the opportunity to cooperate in the domain of connectivity and signal processing for smart systems.
Great colleagues, great place, great energy in one of the most lively cities I ever visited/lived-in.
During my stay at UC3M, I gave a talk offering my views on energy grids, IoT and required communication technologies. There are still some challenges to meet the broad set of requirements, but this offers chances to identify stimulating research directions. Some fragments of the talk can be seen in the video.
