Wireless research

We carry out research on wireless communications in several application areas: cellular networks, vehicular networks, home networks, short range communications.

Currently, we are investigating transmission techniques and signal processing for 5G wireless networks:

• Flexible spectrum management: filter bank modulation, ultra wide band, cognitive radio
• Exploitation of the spatial dimension: multiple antenna (MIMO) solutions
• Network structure: dense small cells, interference management  and mitigation algorithms
